Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols for federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor security infrastructure using SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Lead incident response and threat mitigation activities
- Collaborate with cross-agency security task forces
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP standards
- Mentor junior security analysts and document procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network defense
- Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- U.S. citizenship required
