Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms
- Develop and implement network security protocols and policies
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Manage identity access and authentication systems
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA standards
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and federal compliance requirements
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
