Responsibilities
- Safeguard federal networks against advanced cyber threats using SIEM tools and intrusion detection systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified and unclassified systems

- Collaborate with federal agencies to implement NIST and FISMA compliance frameworks

Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity operations with federal/government experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GSEC, GCFA)
- Proficiency in network security tools (e.g., Splunk, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
- Understanding of federal compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, FISMA)
- Strong analytical skills for threat detection and mitigation
