Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity incident response for federal systems in the Western Region
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop and implement zero-trust security architectures for critical infrastructure
- Coordinate with CISA and FBI on threat intelligence sharing
- Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 and FISMA standards
- Mentor junior cybersecurity specialists in best practices
- Prepare detailed security reports for Congressional oversight committees
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in federal cybersecurity roles
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SIEM tools
- Experience with FedRAMP and CMMC frameworks
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability clearance
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation
