Responsibilities
- Design and implement network security solutions across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate breach mitigation
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and CMMC standards
- Train staff on security best practices and protocols
- Collaborate with DHS cybersecurity teams on threat intelligence
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security roles
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and zero-trust architecture
- Knowledge of federal procurement processes (FAR/DFARS)
- Experience with continuous monitoring tools (DOD RMF)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
