Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot critical city systems with 99.9% uptime requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports per NIST standards
- Lead infrastructure upgrade projects while minimizing service disruption
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex system issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and VMware technologies
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and NIST SP 800-53 security frameworks
- Valid California driver's license
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government clearance
