Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale datasets to inform strategic decision-making for federal operations
- Develop and maintain automated reporting systems using SQL, Python, and R
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliverables
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive summaries and briefings
- Implement data quality control measures and documentation protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience, preferably in federal/government sector
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Strong understanding of federal data privacy regulations and security protocols
- Certification in data management or analytics (e.g., CDMP, AWS Data Analytics) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
