Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale federal health datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for policy stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Prepare comprehensive statistical reports for congressional briefings and agency leadership
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality control protocols and validation checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data-driven solutions for public health challenges
- Maintain compliance with federal data security standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear, compelling data narratives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years analyzing federal or healthcare datasets with proven impact
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis methodologies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Experience with federal reporting requirements and compliance frameworks
- Strong written communication skills for presenting complex technical information
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced federal environment
- Active security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
