Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets to identify trends and inform strategic decisions
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for veteran population analytics
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (HIPAA, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for leadership reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Document analytical methodologies and maintain data integrity standards
- Support compliance reporting for federal healthcare performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with healthcare data systems (VistA, Cerner) or federal databases
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2)
- Certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
