Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and databases to support federal reporting requirements.
- Extract, clean, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data using SQL, Python, and R.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to communicate findings to senior leadership.
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in government data.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for government stakeholders and congressional oversight committees.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with federal regulations and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Political Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or a defense contractor environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Querying and Optimization) and experience with statistical programming languages.
- Expert-level knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
