Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large, complex datasets from various federal sources to support mission-critical objectives.
- Design and develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or SAS to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Perform statistical modeling and predictive analysis to forecast trends and support policy recommendations.
- Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and adherence to federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, policy analysts, and IT professionals to integrate data solutions.
- Maintain and update existing data pipelines to ensure accuracy and real-time accessibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Oracle) and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Clearance: Current Secret or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into non-technical insights.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of federal data governance standards and security protocols.
