Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and support strategic initiatives
- Develop automated dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for leadership review
- Ensure all data handling adheres to FISMA, HIPAA, and federal privacy standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection methodologies
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear, compelling visualizations
- Conduct data quality audits and implement corrective actions
- Support grant allocation decisions through statistical modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience analyzing federal or healthcare datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Certification in data analytics or federal compliance (e.g., CDMP, CISSP) a plus
