Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex healthcare datasets using SQL, R, and Python to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for federal compliance monitoring
- Ensure all data handling adheres to HIPAA, FISMA, and federal record-keeping standards
- Prepare statistical briefings for senior leadership on public health outcomes
- Collaborate with epidemiologists to validate data models and methodologies
- Document data lineage and maintain audit trails for all analytical processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years experience with federal healthcare datasets (Medicare/Medicaid data a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one statistical software (R/SAS)
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements (e.g., HHS Data Standards)
- Strong written communication for translating technical findings for non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in data governance (e.g., CDMP) or federal compliance training
