Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal security standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA)
- Present findings to senior stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure and ETL processes
- Support audit requirements and documentation for federal compliance
- Stay current on evolving federal data regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal government projects
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks (e.g., DAPRA, DHS)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for data warehousing
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
