Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large-scale federal datasets using SQL and Python.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure all data handling complies with federal regulations, security protocols, and FedRAMP standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, briefings, and recommendations for government clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and optimize reporting workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal or government contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws (GDPR, FERPA) and federal data governance standards.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly.
