Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support strategic decision-making
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for executive stakeholders across federal agencies
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data trends and anomalies requiring investigation
- Create comprehensive documentation of data methodologies, processes, and findings
- Present complex analytical results through clear visualizations and executive summaries
- Support continuous improvement of data governance frameworks and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal government datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep understanding of federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, FOIA) and security protocols
- Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing in federal environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy in high-stakes scenarios
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (required)
