Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends in border security operations and compliance metrics
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity across federal databases and implement quality control protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support policy recommendations based on data insights
- Manage secure data pipelines while maintaining compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise visualizations and written briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal government data
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R programming
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
- Active U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong understanding of federal data privacy laws and compliance frameworks
- Proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights
