Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends and support strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal compliance reporting
- Create interactive visualizations and dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive briefings
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality control and validation protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Adhere to strict federal data security standards (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise technical reports and presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal/government data analysis roles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expert knowledge of federal data governance frameworks (FISMA, HIPAA, PII handling)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
- Strong data visualization skills with Tableau or Power BI
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one) required
