Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to identify emerging health trends
- Prepare comprehensive analytical reports for congressional briefings
- Maintain data integrity across multiple federal systems
- Lead ad-hoc analysis projects for emergency response initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems (Medicare/Medicaid preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical programming language
- FISMA and HIPAA compliance certification
- Security clearance eligibility (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with Tableau/Power BI visualization tools
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive PII data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
