Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for routine reporting
- Create interactive visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for stakeholder presentations
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Prepare detailed analytical reports and briefings for senior leadership
- Collaborate with agency partners to define data requirements and project scopes
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI preferred
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements and data governance standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
- Ability to work 20-30 hours per week with flexible scheduling
