Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical modeling tools
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions for public sector challenges
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership and congressional committees
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control and validation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal government data analysis or public sector analytics
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical software (R/SAS)
- Expert knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data regulations and security protocols
