Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends and patterns affecting veteran services
- Design and implement robust data pipelines ensuring compliance with FISMA and federal regulations
- Create compelling data visualizations and executive dashboards for senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support strategic initiatives and reporting requirements
- Develop predictive models to optimize veteran healthcare resource allocation
- Ensure data integrity across VA systems and maintain audit trails
- Present findings to congressional committees and federal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal/government data analysis with security clearance
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and Tableau/Power BI
- Deep knowledge of federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 24 CFR)
- Experience with veteran healthcare data systems (VistA, CDW) is highly desirable
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for executive presentations
- Certification in data governance or federal compliance (e.g., CDGP)
