Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various federal sources into structured formats.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure all data analysis complies with strict federal security regulations and privacy standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting needs.
- Document data pipelines, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or a contracting environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
- Strong proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and scripting.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Understanding of federal data compliance requirements and security protocols.
