Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large-scale federal datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality.
- Advanced Analytics: Utilize Python, SQL, and R to perform statistical analysis, trend identification, and predictive modeling.
- Visualization: Develop interactive and intuitive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Compliance Support: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST) and security protocols.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for government leadership to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Policy, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with a preference for experience within the federal or government contracting sector.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL (Querying/ETL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
