Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various government and commercial sources using SQL and ETL tools.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense to support executive reporting.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns relevant to federal performance metrics and compliance audits.
- Collaborate closely with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure all data handling and processing adhere to strict federal regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and GDPR compliance standards.
- Document data pipelines and analytical methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, with a preference for experience within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server) and experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and scripting languages (Python or R).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
