Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that support program evaluation and policy development.
- Develop and maintain interactive data visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik to communicate findings to senior leadership effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data collection strategies and improve data quality standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data governance, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, executive briefings, and statistical models for congressional staff and agency heads.
- Perform data cleaning, integration, and statistical modeling using SQL, Python, or R.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis within a federal government or defense contracting environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
