Responsibilities
- Conduct Advanced Data Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support federal decision-making processes.
- Develop Data Visualization Dashboards: Create interactive, high-fidelity dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present complex data findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure Compliance & Security: Adhere to strict federal regulations (FISMA, NIST) and data security protocols to protect sensitive government information.
- Report Generation: Write clear, concise, and accurate technical reports and memos based on analytical findings to meet client deliverables.
- Database Management: Query relational databases (SQL) to extract data and perform statistical modeling to support program evaluation and impact assessments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal contracting or government sector.
- Clearance: Current Active Secret Security Clearance or higher (TS/SCI) is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools is mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into business insights for non-technical audiences.
