Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large-scale datasets from various federal and internal sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Design and develop complex data models and dashboards using advanced visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js) to communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- Conduct statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for executive leadership and federal clients, translating technical findings into understandable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and optimize data collection processes for ongoing projects.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, security protocols, and data governance standards throughout the data lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret).
