We are seeking a highly skilled Federal Data Analyst to join our San Francisco-based team. This is an immediate hire opportunity for a professional who excels at transforming complex datasets into actionable intelligence for federal stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our federal data systems, supporting grant management initiatives, and delivering high-impact visualizations that drive decision-making. Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex data analysis models to support federal program evaluation and budget forecasting.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and grant outcomes.
- Ensure full compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, and OMB Circular A-123 regulations regarding data governance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data gaps and implement robust data quality improvement strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for executive leadership and federal auditors.
- Manage large-scale SQL databases and perform ETL processes to clean and standardize incoming data streams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong preference for experience within the Federal Government or defense contracting sector.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Expert-level experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance or Public Trust certification.
- Deep understanding of federal reporting requirements, data privacy laws, and privacy act compliance.
