Responsibilities
- Data Governance & Integrity: Oversee the collection, cleaning, and validation of large-scale datasets to ensure compliance with federal standards and regulations.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and develop interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) that provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical modeling and trend analysis to identify patterns, forecast outcomes, and drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with program managers and technical leads to define data requirements and communicate complex analytical findings clearly.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, data dictionaries, and process manuals to support knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the Federal Government or a similar regulated sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for complex querying and Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Tools: Strong command of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikView.
- Compliance: Demonstrated understanding of federal data privacy laws (e.g., FISMA, NIST) and information security protocols.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
