Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, and preprocess large-scale federal datasets to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to support federal program evaluation and policy development.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technical data specifications.
- Ensure all data handling practices comply with federal security standards and privacy regulations (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Prepare detailed reports and executive summaries to communicate complex data findings effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal or government contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and Python or R for data manipulation and scripting.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
