Responsibilities
- Analyze Complex Datasets: Gather, cleanse, and interpret large volumes of federal data to support decision-making processes and policy development.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to strict federal regulations and security protocols (e.g., FISMA, NIST) to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
- Visualize Insights: Create compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders and agency leadership.
- Database Management: Monitor and maintain relational databases, ensuring efficient querying and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with subject matter experts and IT teams to identify data requirements and optimize analytical workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages. Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is a significant plus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a flexible environment.
