Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret complex federal datasets from various agencies to support decision-making processes and strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain interactive data visualizations and executive dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and data modeling to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with government stakeholders and policy teams to translate data findings into clear, concise reports and executive presentations.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data security standards, privacy regulations (e.g., FISMA), and internal governance protocols.
- Document data processes, methodologies, and data dictionaries to ensure data integrity and reproducibility across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or a defense contracting environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying, data extraction, and complex data manipulation.
- Experience with Python or R for advanced data analysis and scripting.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to start.
- Strong understanding of federal compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP), data governance policies, and ITIL best practices.
