Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain complex data models to support federal reporting requirements and business intelligence needs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for executive leadership and non-technical staff.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous data validation protocols to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with federal standards.
- SQL & ETL: Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources including SQL databases and government repositories.
- Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing federal initiatives and adapt to changing project requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a federal government or defense contracting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python or R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or SAS).
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work with unstructured data and derive meaningful patterns.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to senior stakeholders.
