Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data integrity and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Design interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate complex insights.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data security regulations, including FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership and government officials.
- Document data methodologies and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, with a preference for experience in the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (Query optimization, stored procedures) and scripting languages (Python or R).
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Deep understanding of data governance, privacy laws, and security protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is preferred.
