Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for decision support.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data security standards, including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including policy makers and engineers, to define data requirements and improve reporting processes.
- Perform statistical analysis and modeling to forecast outcomes and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Document data governance processes and maintain accurate data repositories.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of master data records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data warehousing, or business intelligence, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases and Python or R for advanced data manipulation.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik).
- Ability to obtain or possess a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating technical reports and presentations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC.
