Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large-scale federal datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop dynamic dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Conduct rigorous statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for government leadership.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from secure government databases.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with IT and security teams to ensure all data handling complies with strict federal regulations and security protocols.
- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of data projects, from requirements gathering to final deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, with a preference for experience within the federal sector or government contracting.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and modeling.
- Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret security clearance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical data to non-technical audiences.
