Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various federal sources.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Create interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to present findings to leadership.
- Ensure all data analysis complies with federal regulations, including FISMA and NIST standards.
- Conduct statistical analysis to forecast trends and support decision-making processes.
- Document data methodologies and prepare technical reports for internal and external audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws and federal compliance requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
