Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate raw data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data governance standards, security protocols, and privacy regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Perform statistical modeling, forecasting, and trend analysis to support program evaluation and resource allocation.
- Prepare clear, concise briefings and presentations summarizing analytical findings for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sectors.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one (Top Secret is a plus).
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
