Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity for federal reporting.
- Develop complex SQL queries and scripts to extract and manipulate data for analysis.
- Design and build interactive dashboards and visualizations in PowerBI and Tableau to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights that drive business recommendations.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for federal stakeholders and program managers.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to define data requirements and improve data collection processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards and agency regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or government contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Expertise in data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI and/or Tableau.
- Experience with federal data standards, data governance, and security protocols (e.g., FISMA).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise reports for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is a plus.
