Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using advanced SQL and Python for program performance tracking
- Ensure compliance with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, FOIA) throughout all data processes
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to deliver strategic insights supporting policy decisions
- Design and implement data validation protocols to maintain data integrity across systems
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive-level visualizations and reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience analyzing government or regulated industry data
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep understanding of federal data standards, privacy laws, and compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies
