- Data Management: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality and integrity for analysis.
- Analytics & Reporting: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within complex datasets to drive decision-making.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive data visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data processes, methodologies, and code repositories to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal security protocols and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience for non-graduates).
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate understanding of SQL and Python (advanced training provided for production environments).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Security Clearance: US Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
