Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced analytics tools
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for senior government stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliverables
- Present findings to agency leadership through executive-level reports and briefings
- Maintain data integrity across multiple federal systems and databases
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for data processing workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal government data analysis roles
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep knowledge of federal data regulations and compliance standards
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact analytics for government agencies
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
