Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze large volumes of federal data to support agency reporting and strategic planning.
- Compliance Reporting: Ensure all data handling practices adhere to strict federal privacy laws and cybersecurity protocols (FISMA).
- System Maintenance: Monitor and troubleshoot federal information systems to ensure maximum uptime and data integrity.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current data workflows and implement automated solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of data operations and prepare comprehensive technical documentation for internal review.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess (or be able to obtain) a favorable background investigation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in federal data management, government IT, or a similar technical environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, and federal government systems (e.g., ePAWS, PCOL).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
