- Train staff on health information management best practices
- Generate monthly compliance reports for federal oversight
- Lead system upgrades during quarterly maintenance windows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- 3+ years' experience with EHR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Federal-level security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Certified Health Information Administrator (CHIA) credential required
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and VA privacy regulations
- Proven crisis management experience in healthcare IT
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools
