Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health initiatives targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and recommend interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations to deliver culturally competent health education programs
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets to secure sustainable funding
- Conduct health assessments and prepare comprehensive reports for policy stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional teams in emergency preparedness and response planning
- Monitor compliance with federal/state public health regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis and data visualization
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience securing federal/state grants (HRSA/CDC applications)
- Valid Kentucky driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
