Responsibilities
- Design and implement veteran healthcare program initiatives aligned with VA mission goals
- Analyze healthcare data to identify service gaps and recommend policy improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program delivery
- Monitor compliance with federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Develop program budgets and financial reports for leadership review
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with veteran advocacy groups and community partners
- Train staff on new healthcare protocols and system implementations
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and veteran satisfaction metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal healthcare program experience (GS-11 equivalent)
- Expertise in healthcare regulations (CMS, VA policies, HIPAA)
- Proficient in healthcare analytics tools (Tableau, SAS, or VA VistA systems)
- Demonstrated project management with PMP or federal equivalent certification
- Strong budget development and financial analysis skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
