Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a specialized veteran healthcare unit ensuring compliance with federal regulations
- Develop and implement strategic healthcare policies aligned with VA and federal standards
- Manage interdisciplinary teams including medical professionals, technicians, and support staff
- Analyze healthcare data to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency
- Coordinate with federal agencies and community partners to enhance service delivery
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership and congressional oversight committees
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, VA directives, and federal healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare management or federal healthcare systems
- Active VA Federal Service credential or equivalent healthcare certification
- Expertise in federal compliance frameworks (VA, OMB, HIPAA)
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and federal databases
- Strong analytical skills with experience in healthcare data interpretation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
