Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of veterans' healthcare services ensuring compliance with federal regulations
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care delivery and operational efficiency
- Manage budgets and resources for multi-million dollar healthcare programs
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams of medical professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Analyze healthcare data to identify trends and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as liaison between federal agencies and veteran community stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA, VA policies, and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare management experience with federal/government background
- Active VA healthcare certification or eligibility for federal credentials
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in healthcare information systems (EHR, VistA)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
