Responsibilities
- Manage and administer federal pension plans ensuring compliance with OPM regulations
- Process retirement applications and conduct eligibility verifications
- Develop educational materials for participants on retirement planning
- Collaborate with finance teams on funding strategies and projections
- Respond to complex inquiries from stakeholders and beneficiaries
- Conduct audits to ensure plan integrity and fiduciary responsibility
- Lead training sessions on pension policy and benefits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of federal pension administration experience
- Strong knowledge of FERS/CSRS retirement systems
- Advanced proficiency in HRIS and pension management software
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (PHR, SPHR, or CFP) preferred
